About the SneezyMUD wiki

History, Purpose and Goals

Thanks for visiting the SneezyMUD wiki. For many years, the collective SneezyMUD world knowledge was contained either in the MUD's helpfiles, in small snippets on the website or in the individual craniums of the players, scattered throughout the world.

The SneezyMUD wiki was started in January of 2007 by Deirdre and Mercury to centralize, update, expand and increase accessibility to all of this information.

The goal of this wiki is to give a home to all the various information in the Sneezy world. A home that is easy to access, easy to read and easy to contribute to. Many players have great knowledge of the game and would love to share, but grow weary of answering the same questions repeatedly. Many new players need to know this information but it is not readily available to them.

What Belongs in the SneezyMUD Wiki?

The SneezyMUD wiki is home to articles documenting features including (but not limited to) help files, information on races, classes, disciplines, spells, skills, prayers, items (including armor, clothing, weapons, components, foods, drinks, etc), mobs (including trainers), shops, books, how-tos, strategy guides, tutorials, faction histories and player biographies.

Spoilers will not be restricted from the wiki, but all spoilers are required to include the spoiler template at the top of the page to prevent unwanted spoiling of the new user experience. It is expected that if you do not desire to view spoiler material, it is your responsibility to heed the spoiler warnings.

What Does NOT Belong in the SneezyMUD Wiki?

The SneezyMUD wiki has no desire or use for unnecessary profanity, obscenity, editorial articles, copyrighted information not belonging to SneezyMUD (including text and images), inflammatory or slanderous material and any non-SneezyMUD related political, personal or commercial commentary (outside of player biographies).

How Can I Help?

The SneezyMUD wiki is made successful by the players and immortals that help by either creating new articles or editing articles that need cleanup or additional content.
